  Summer Camp Early Bird Info and Enrollment!!

Summer just isn’t summer…without a GREAT camp experience!  Camp Can-I-Cook opens in June with new recipes to master and culinary challenges to explore!

Camp will be every day from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM* (*on select weeks), Monday through Friday.  Classes are 3 hours long, and our chef campers will be making 4 recipes from scratch daily! Ages 5.5 and up and some special sessions for ages 4 & up. 

Below are the weekly themes. Space is limited, so sign up early!

Week 1 ( week of 6/24): Treats to Beat the Heat- Can't take the heat? Looking for a 'cool' camp adventure? 'Chill' in our kitchens as we stir up some frosty, cold treats to beat the summer heat! From freezer pleasers and soda fountain favorites to no-bake entrees, YCA is the place to be!

Week 2 (week of 7/1): French Cuisine- Explore rich sauces, fresh herbs, pastries, and all the delicacies that are part of French cuisine. You will cook, bake, plate, and present just like a French chef! Bon appetit!  **No Class on July 4th, tuition will be prorated

Week 3 (week of 7/8): A Tour of Italy-Here's your ticket for an adventure abroad! Travel to Italy with us and explore the favorites of Italian cuisine: pasta, breads, cheeses, and pizza, of course!

Week 4 (week of 7/15)(Also available for TEENS) ages 13-17: Copy Cat Cooking- Have a 'dining-out' adventure in your 'dining-in' kitchen! Beat the restaurant rush by cloning delicious menu offerings from the Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback's, and Cheesecake Factory to name a few. Bye-bye, menus. Hello, recipes!

Week 5 (week of 7/22): All American Favorites- Three cheers for the red, white and blue! Nothing says summer like picnics, parades, fireworks, and baseball! Put on your patriotic apron and join us as we salute summertime favorites! Don't miss this cooking adventure. It's a homerun!

Week 6 (week of 7/29): Baking Boot Camp- This camp adventure will 'shape up' your baking abilities! With some basic training in cookies, cakes, pies, and breads, you'll be ready to out-stir, out-sift, out-roll, any of your baking competitors. You'll be fit to handle any baking challenge! 

Week 7 (week of 8/5): Copy Cat Cooking- Have a 'dining-out' adventure in your 'dining-in' kitchen! Beat the restaurant rush by cloning delicious menu offerings from the Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback's, and Cheesecake Factory to name a few. Bye-bye, menus. Hello, recipes!

Week 8 (week of 8/12): Chocolate Adventure- Love chocolate? Then this is the camp adventure for you! Explore all things as you bake, melt, stir, drizzle and dip your way to delectable treats. You won't believe the sweet and savory recipes we will cook up--I 'heart' chocolate!

Week 9 (week of 8/19): A Tour of Italy- Here's your ticket for an adventure abroad! Travel to Italy with us and explore the favorites of Italian cuisine: pasta, breads, cheeses, and pizza, of course! We'll even twist the pasta a bit with some updated 'old world' recipes. 

Week 10 (week of 8/26): Baking Boot Camp- This camp adventure will 'shape up' your baking abilities! With some basic training in cookies, cakes, pies, and breads, you'll be ready to out-stir, out-sift, out-roll, any of your baking competitors. You'll be fit to handle any baking challenge! 

Kinder Cooks!
We will have special classes for our younger chefs, ages 4-7. 
Space is limited, so sign up early! Classes are 9 am to 12 pm daily
