Welcome to Young Chefs Academy of Plano!

YCA is an enrichment program that teaches the joy and excitement of cooking! Our mission is to provide a safe and relaxed environment that is encouraging and educational. Our goal is to provide a positive experience that will promote creativity and self confidence.

• Membership Cooking Classes -Students attend a weekly class and have special member benefits. There is a new theme with new skills introduced each month. Students learn kitchen safety, proper food handling, cooking and baking techniques, food preparation & presentation, table manners and of course, how to clean while cooking! • Class Packs - These are a series of 3 - 6 theme and/or skill specific.
• Workshops - These are amazing one time events that are menu specific. See Schedule page for more info!
• Field Trips - We offer unique field trips for schools, preschools, scout troops, homeschool groups, sports teams, youth groups, playgroups, etc. We offer many terrific options! See Schedule page for more info.
• Camps - We offer camps during Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer Break! Campers prepare tasty recipes, make new friends, learn kitchen skills and the best part, HAVE A BLAST! See Schedule page for more info.
• Birthday Parties - If you've never experienced a YCA party, then you're missing out! YCA parties are packed full of cooking, laughter and tons of FUN!  See Party Package page for more info.
• Scout Badge Workshops - We offer cooking activities for badge requirements. See Schedule page for more info.
• Special Events - Family Nights, Kids Night Out, Adult Classes, Girls Night Out, Team Building, and many more.
