Welcome to Young Chefs! Young Chefs Academy is a cooking school created just for kids! More than simply peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Young Chefs Academy teaches children the joy of cooking in a kid-friendly and safe environment. Most classes are geared for chefs ages 7-14, with special classes designed for younger chefs ages 3-6.
Budding chefs will learn the basics of cooking while participating in the preparation of real recipes that they get to taste at the end of each class. Students will also learn safety, etiquette, math and science . . . all while having fun!
Imagine having your birthday party and making your own pizza with all your friends at Young Chefs Academy! Or how about your group having their very own cooking lessons on a field trip to Young Chefs Academy? We can't wait to get cookin'! We are always cooking up some fun at Young Chefs Academy!
SUPER SPECIAL EVENT!!! Join us as we welcome Guest Chef Kathy Lehr! Tues Oc 12th 6:30pm-8:30pm $60 each Kathy has studied under some extremely talented individuals. She has an impressive resume and a lot of experience. She continues to regularly attend classes herself. She is the absolute hands-down best instructor that I have ever had for a class! We are extremely excited to have her at Young Chefs Academy for a Pizzas and Strombolis class on October 12th from 6:30 - 8:30pm. The cost of the class is $60. This is a hands on class. You will get to take dough home to try out your new skills to make sure you were paying attention in class! You will learn how to shape this yummy Italian dough into one of our all time favorites...pizza!!! There will be a selection of toppings for you to add to your individual size pizza. After making the pizza, you will take the same dough, roll it out, and then fill it with pepperoni and cheeses. This makes a great treat for all your friends at your weekend sleepover!!
